Genius Inc Wiki

Background[]

Very little is known about Kimiko's past. She herself said that no one ever loved her. The protagonist was the first one to take care of her. In Kimiko's story, It's revealed that she lived with her mother Honoka and father who commited sucide for unknown reasons, she seemed close to him than Honoka who used to lock her away. it was revealed by the latter to have killed her husband and faked her death

Being a yandere, Kimiko wants nothing but to have the protagonist for herself, while acting hostile towards Mei, Tatsumi and Shiki. Her actions range from setting the protagonist's appartment on fire so he can sleep with her, to hiring an assassin to take out Shiki, to trying to overrun Tatsumi with a stolen car, to trying to shoot Mei with a sniper rifle, to trying to lure the protagonist out so she can blow up his hideout with the girls still inside.

She is later revealed to have been under Yuta's influence.

Connections[]

  • Protagonist

After giving her effective advice on improving her social skills, Kimiko becomes obsessed with the protagonist, frequently claiming she and the protagonist are destined to be together.

She seems to believe this so badly, even the protagonist fails to get her to snap back to reality.

In the Kimiko ending, however, she gets inspired by the protagonist's words and manages to escape custody and goes into hiding with him.

Mei would be the first girl to be targeted by Kimiko, as she first tries to break into her dorm room. She would also get a spot on Kimiko's list of official targets, prompting Tatsumi to have Mei go into hiding with the protagonist.

Later in the story, Kimiko tries to shoot Mei with a sniper rifle, which fails because the protagonist interferes. These events would, on the other hand, remove the possibility of Mei and Kimiko being one and the same.

A later murder attempt, trying to blow up the hideout while the protagonist wasn't around, which failed because the girls went with him, would almost end up pushing Mei into insanity.

Shiki would be the second one to be targeted by Kimiko when she follows her when Shiki is alone at night. This fails when the protagonist manages to track Shiki down, forcing Kimiko to retreat.

Later in the story, Kimiko makes a literal bomb and sends it to Shiki's house. The bomb does get neutralized, but it forces Shiki to go into hiding with the protagonist and Mei.

Later, during a university competition, Kimiko hires an assassin to take Shiki's life. This also fails when the protagonist manages to overpower the assassin.

Tatsumi would become Kimiko's final target, getting on her radar when Tatsumi and Shiki visit the address Kimiko sent to the protagonist in the aftermath of his apartment being set on fire.

Kimiko does end up falling for a trap to lure her out by Tatsumi and the protagonist to go on a date when she tries to overrun Tatsumi with a stolen car. This fails when the protagonist interferes, forcing Kimiko to retreat again. Because the car was stolen and abandoned without witnesses, and because Tatsumi couldn't get any leads, her plan still failed and was forced to also go into hiding with the protagonist, Mei, Shiki and Tatsumi.

Yuta turned out to be the one who approached Kimiko when he discovered she wasn't content with the protagonist's rejection. With the promise that she and the protagonist were meant to be together, he would be the one to share valuable info with her in a plot to get revenge on the protagonist for stealing his spotlight in university. Kimiko does seem oblivious about Yuta's ulterior motives, especially his crush on Shiki.

    • Throughout the game, she also makes herself guilty of stalking, trespassing, joyriding, illegal weapon possession, illegal usage of explosives, and, in the Kimiko ending, escaping lawful custody.
    • Her actual sentence was still unknown, but even if she managed to outlive her sentence, it's unlikely that her actual charges would lead to a restraining order.
  • second anecdote of Kimiko's story if you do the real ending she will be freed by the protagonist who will drive the car and they will happen again in the car the police will arrive and Kimiko will be arrested but she had a knife and a policeman has to shoot because 'she had a knife and she died and the protagonist is sad that he couldn't save her
