Takeo never had an easy life. He claimed to have seen much worse things than your nightmares could imagine. He saw a broken and divided world, filled with wars and ongoing polarization, where he strongly believes in unity. When he first heard of Caacrinolaas, he immediately believed him to be the solution, given how he also managed to unite the demon kingdoms under his royal banner. This is where he joins the Faithful and manages to climb the ranks to become spokesperson.

Given that the soul of Caacrinolaas resides in you, he and his followers will do whatever it takes to get you to their side, even trying to lure you in with the hope you're going to use your powers to further the return of Caacrinolaas.
After his defeat, Takeo is only willing to spill the beans to you, as you're still the vessel of Caacrinolaas.
Given the fact that Lilin works for Legion, Takeo despises her very existence and desperately wants her out of the picture.
Takeo sees Pamonea as his most loyal follower, even letting her perform all of the rituals involving reviving Caacrinolaas.
