Background[]
Since he was younger, Yuta was aways at the top of the pecking order with his physique, always having to protect the protagonist, as he was far more popular than him.
Upon entering college, however, the tides turned in the protagonist's favour and to the cost of Yuta. His intelligence, combined with his ability to give advice, pulled people towards him and away from Yuta, making Yuta feel left behind. He even finds out that his crush, Shiki, has an eye on the protagonist. He goes to an anonymous advice networ, and is disappointed with getting advice that he needs to improve himself.
When he figures out the protagonist runs the advice network and learns about Kimiko being sad he doesn't want to reveal his personal info, he decides to contact her with the offer to help her.

Yuta and the protagonist go back since high school, where he always had to protect the protagonist, as his physique made him far more popular than him.
Things changed in college, as the protagonist's intelligence and ability to give advice allowed him to become more popular than Yuta. Yuta did not like this change in dynamic, but was especially hurt when his crush turned out to have feelings for the protagonist. He resorted to an anonymous advice network, but was disappointed in his advice, as he felt it was cliche in his eyes.
Through an accident, he finds out the protagonist runs the advice network, he decides to plot his revenge.
Yuta put on a metaphorical mask to hide his resentment towards the protagonist and even acts ignorant about her shenanigans, but the moment Kimiko gets arrested, he decides to take it upon himself to take out mc for good.
Despite being nearly succesful, he gets tackled by Mei, Shiki and Tatsumi, causing his plan to fail and leading to his arrest.
As another friend of the protagonist, Yuta and Mei seem to get along. Unlike Mei, Yuta's sympathy is fake.
Being Shiki's sister, Yuta seems to take a liking towards Tatsumi.
Shiki is Yuta's crush, but she does not return his feelings, and instead, has an eye on the protagonist.
After Yuta finds out you run the advice network, he finds out Kimiko was not happy with the protagonist rejecting her advances. He befriends her and becomes the one to share any and all info he can gather with her.
